Originally these injectors have a flow rate of 61,8 l/h @ a pressure of 100bar.
Our MY4.5 Stage 0.5 injectors use the same nozzle flow as our stage 1 injectors use. (nozzle flow rate of 76,2 l/h/100bar -->24% increase compared to stock)
For model years 2004-2007 we utilize a 124° spray angle
They are detuned to lower emissions and exhaust gas temperatures. An increase in fuel economy will be noticed as they have a shorter injection duration, with the same energizing time as the OEM injectors. This makes the Stage 0.5 a perfect towing injector.
To better understand the injection quantity increase, below are the values for the full load injection quantity @1600bar/1700µs:
OEM: ~130mm³
Stage 0.5: ~149mm³
Stage 1: ~163mm³
All our remanufacture injectors contain a new hardchrome coated valve piece, a new solenoid and older injectors are upgraded to the small puck design (nozzle guided valve piston). All BBI reman injector have the same functional tolerances as new injectors.
BBI Core procedure:
Customers wishing to obtain refunds on their purchase of BBI reman injectors, customer will be charged an up front core deposit. Customers core injectors have to be received within 30 days of the original invoice date
Upon return and thorough inspection of core injectors, customer will be refunded either the full or a partial pro-rated core deposit.

Let me say these injectors idle so smooth. Fuel mileage was around 14. Now I’m at about 18-20mpg. These are the real deal.

My 2006 3500 is stock, never had a performance box on it, and it’s only task is towing my 16,000 pound fifth wheel. Dylan’s Precision Diesel, in ABQ NM, installed point 5 injectors for me. Wow. The power is noticeably increased, particularly in the torque band of 1700-2200 RPM. The boost builds quicker and the EGTs are 100-200 degrees cooler. The EGTs outside the torque peak appear to be about the same, but the EGTs in the meat of the torque band, 2000 RPM, are significantly lower. The idle is as smooth as any engine I’ve ever operated. These are the only aftermarket injectors I’ve ever used, but they are an amazing improvement to the stock injectors and are perfect for heavy towing with a stock engine.
